Woman arrested for allegedly stealing 2 children

According to the Observer, a 27-year-old woman has been arrested with two children allegedly stolen recently in Benin City.

Police sources disclosed that the minors, Faith Omoruyi , 5 and Gold Peter, 4 were reported stolen at Useh Market and Useh Secondary School Road on October 21 and December 2, 2012 respectively, in Benin City.

Police further hinted that the woman courage Eloho Igwe confessed to have stolen the children with the assistance of one Efe Ogaga who has equally been apprehended and helping investigators in the police Command Headquarter, Benin City

The innocent children were said to have been taken to mechanic village, Warri, Delta State where they were kept for yet to be known motive.

The suspect stated that the pressure mounted on her by her family members and neighbours as their curiousity on seeing the children prompted her to return them to Benin City where she surrounded herself and the infants to men of Ogida Police Station, Benin City.

The two children were reunited with their families yesterday at the police headquarters, Benin City .
